Are you an up-n-coming artist who just wants people to hear their music, but you don’t have the $$$ to pay some blogs to post it?

WM40A is here to work with you, but you have to work with us too!  This site was developed for artists who have the sounds but need the push.  We’re willing to work with any dope artist in Rap/Soul/R&b/Jazz etc.  We are always looking for new talent to talk about on the podcast, twitter, facebook, and tumblr.  People want good music, and we want to get it to them.

If you feel you’ve got something dope, please SUBMIT it following the guidelines below:

***IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES FOR SUBMISSIONS, YOUR MUSIC WILL NOT GET HEARD.***

RULES FOR SUBMISSIONS:

1. Send it to submissions@wheresmy40acres.com

2. Make sure to put “Submission” in the subject line ..(this is very important because we have a filter set up)

3. Introduce the artist(s) and provide a short excerpt about the group/song/artist..whichever works.

4.Provide artwork for the song/album/etc

5.Provide a link to your websites/twitter/tumblr/faceboot/etc..

6. Songs music be submitted using hulkshare/soundcloud/bandcamp/sharebeast/youtube/etc…anything that is from a HOSTED STREAMING SITE

7. DO NOT SEND MP3′s.  WE WILL NOT DOWNLOAD THEM OR CLICK PLAY, PERIOD.
